Now let's start now, I gotta pull the motor it's a good thing because I believe the fly wheel is chipped in certain spots. Anyway, look at the conundrum, I have now dont reach. Fml now gotta go rent one prolly

There’s another post on the site where someone made an extension. I believe 2x2 square stock. Or they took the existing one off and put a longer one in place of it. If you extend it make sure it goes far into the original lift.

Watch the hood when lifting it gets really close.

Another 30-40-50 bolts and you can have that core support sitting on the ground. Easy peasy. No not really, just messing around.

You may be able to but that’s a lot of height to get over the fender. It get really tippy too.

be carefull about makeing the boom longer without makeingthe legs longer will get heavy and tip over. Voice of experience almost, we saw the lift raising and dropped the motor back down before a diaster happened

I don’t believe he does. But I’ve only seen his car once and he only opened the hood for 3 1/2 minutes. Didn’t want no dust on it.

Something to be said for a garage with a 9' open joist ceiling.... The car isn't so tippy and easy to roll back in the garage.  ;)
