jft69z Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Sounds like a nice car Clint. A suggestion would be to post as many pictures as you can. That would go a long way here towards generating interest, and possibly getting a sale. We like pictures here. PS: sorry about the divorce as the reason. 4 Quote
Rob Peters Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Clint, sorry to hear about your divorce. We really urge people to post pictures of their for sale items. .Just a note, there was no such thing as an early "Halo" trim. The "Full Halo" that was on 70 Monte's was NOT only on early produced cars. My 70 Montr was produced in late June of 1970 and it has the Full Halo. Again, we love pictures. rob 3 Quote

overdrive Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I'll take the liberty of posting the photos for Clint. He and I have been messaging about this car for a couple of days. These photos were taken by one of our members here (Kurt M) when the car was for sale several years ago in Kentucky, before Clint bought it. A Nova guy named Tony Mills in southern Kentucky had the car for sale and I was interested in it. He had bought it from the daughter of the original owner, who was working at the Flint plant when he ordered it. Kurt sent me these photos, but a bad ice storm kept me from making the trip to see the car. I passed the photos on to Clint yesterday. The car was shipped to him in Idaho, along with another non-SS, that he bought about the same time in southern Missouri. The SS still looks the same, and Clint is just trying to recoup his purchase price. The car also has the tach and gauge dash, tilt column, auxiliary lighting, a 2.56:1 posi-trac 12 bolt rear, and the power trunk release option. It's loaded! If I hadn't bought my '71, 4 speed, I would have bought this car 2 days ago, before the ads were posted. Dan  2 Quote
70white402 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 If I don’t buy this gem, I have an original turbo 400 from my 70 402  Monte.it was built in sept so it’s 6 months earlier than this car was built. 3 Quote
