Denny Posted June 12 Author Posted June 12 Yes I do have it listed there also. It has been disassembled cleaned, prepped with adhesion promoter, sprayed with sem paint. Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Denny, that dash sure looks purty! It would look great in my 72 Monte, but I already did the same to my dash - cleaning, adhesion promotor, and sprayed it with SEM black paint. It was factory Green, but I changed my interior to Black. Quote
Marks71 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Good eye Dennis, missed that. The radio cup repairs was hashed out pretty well on a past post, so no biggie. Quote
Steven Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I thought the 72 dashes had the seat belt warning light in the bezel. Quote

The Seat Belt Warning Light was Legislated but not required until Jan. 1972. My 72 has a Build Date of Dec. 13, 1971 and does not have the Seat Belt Warning Light Lens, but was wired for it under the Dash. So anything Built after Jan. 1, 1972 required the Seat Belt Warning Light. Doug 2 Quote
Dtret Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Doug is correct so that could be used 70- to early 72. 1 Quote
Steven Posted August 22 Posted August 22 It could be used on a 70-71 but it’s not correct for those years. Quote

Leghome Posted August 23 Posted August 23 7 hours ago, Steven said: It could be used on a 70-71 but it’s not correct for those years. Make a small bracket below the Seat Belt Light and when you go to a show the put a dash plaque over it Quote
Steven Posted August 23 Posted August 23 the dash he has for sale can be used on 70-71 and be correct, as it does not have the cut out for the seat belt light, I did not know about the time frame of being required to have the light. I was asking about the year 1972 because I thought they all had the seat belt light in the dash. Sorry for my confusion. Quote
