Jim Boczar Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Welcome to the FGMCC! Great group of people and a wealth of knowledge. Your car looks great and nice color combination! Built in the Flint Plant like mine but yours is an earlier build. Unfortunately, Flint cars usually mean no build sheets to be found. Hang onto any other paperwork you may have and enjoy your new ride! 5 Quote

Actually looked up original owner who was in the Army in the 1940s, and I bought the car from his grandson. 5 Quote

The cherry on top was my wife's dad had an old dodge in the same color that they called Gold Crust so I'll be getting a personal plate with that for my wife to let me increase my budget...🤣 6 Quote

Been wanting an old car since a kid watching my cousin build a couple camaros. Montes grabbed my attention as a youngster watching #3 rip up the track. But wanted an older model now that I can "afford" it (yea right) lol. After about 18 months of looking decided on 1st Gen MC , focused my attention on them 5 months ago and stumbled across this beauty a couple weeks ago. Finally got me one!! Down the rabbit hole I go....willingly. All original no ,major rust , interior is great and runs like a clock. 350 Welcome...i just joined bout month ago. You are gonna love this group. Especially if you work on your own cars. These guys are great!!...good lookin monte. Wow shes clean 5 Quote

I have not done much with mine, yet. I have been just enjoying driving it for right now. I have some plans for over the winter. Sorry you are so far away. I live in MD and I am going to meet the club guys in PA this weekend. It will be my first major show. I can not wait. Good luck with your new/old car and enjoy. Doug 2 Quote
Dtret Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Distance is what you make it. Last year Aaron flew in from the other side of Canada, Ron and his family flew in from California and Ryan drove his Monte from Idaho plus many more long distance haulers, or drivers. 6 Quote
