But as long as motors out ..might as well ..that way if sonethin wrong its out of car any thoughts ..btw guy builds racing motors knows his s^$,t

Anytime you can get time on a dyno is like eating ice cream.... Awesome! Go for it!! That way, drop it back in, fire it up and ready to go! I'm going to do a chassis dyno with mine. Just waiting on the right time. It's all timing with these guys. Always busy. I'll get my chance, could be after the summer.

I'd say money well spent if you do it. They should be able to tweak it for what your intended driving scenario isΒ

It not always about the numbers. Just to set it up and run it for a while is good too. Now is the time to see if you or the engine builder has any defective parts before you install it. Any leaks, soft camshaft lobes or cam issues, rockers, lifters, usually appear on the stand. That is the time to find out. Well worth the money instead of doing double work. But, hopefully the numbers are where you want to be. My 2 cents.Β

I hear yu thats what i was thinkin actually ..im weird i have a curse i always have to do everything twice, just like when I ordered the converter. And I'm now I'm dealing with a different one. I don't want this to be a two time thing, but everything I do in life.I always have to do twice. It's a curse it's weird

But you get to do it twice. The power of the curse. Try to eliminate the curse. Pay the fee. That’s a great price anyway, mine was double plus.Β

Do it!

The dyno runs give you your gross HP and torque of your engine on a stand, but like you said, it will be easier to tune and modify it while on the engine stand, vs in the car.Β

Then you can subtract 20% to get your net HP and torque at the rear wheels. Peace of mind knowing what your engine has, and that it should be running the best it can until you decide to upgrade or modify something on it later on down the road.
