72-CLASSIC_RIDE Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Pretty clean and for a pretty reasonable price found on Facebook Marketplace.... 72 MONTE Doug 1 Quote
Vaughn Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Looks very clean for the money. Is that a 1972 custom steering wheel? 1 Quote
Dtret Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Like the car but I’m not a skirt guy( unless it’s a mini) and don’t care much for the rims. But that’s just me. 1 2 Quote

I don't like skirts unless they're mini-skirts or a beautiful lass in a short kilt 😍 Also, I'm not a fan of those hub caps either, but take those skirts off and leave the Cragar SS mags on it, and it would look much better. 2 Quote
Chevy Dave Posted June 12 Posted June 12 I saw the car at a distance yesterday at a crusin. The skirts turned me off. If I knew it was for sale, I would have checked it out. That crusin is every wednesday and I will probably go next week. If it's there I will check it out. 1 Quote
Robnhood Posted June 12 Posted June 12 I don't know anything about the chrome piece that goes above the bumper in the back. Was that an option? Was it specific to a certain year? Quote
FrankOC Posted June 12 Posted June 12 funny how a set of wheels can transform a car. A set of rally wheels with lettered tires and that is a different car. 6 Quote

cny first gen 71 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Yes Leo has very high quality stuff and a real great guy too. Good person to deal with. 1 Quote
Marks71 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 For the money, that definitely looks like something worth checking out. Don’t care for the skirts either, but those could be sold off. Looks like the wheel well trim comes with it too. 1 Quote

Marks71 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 That was an assumption on my part because the photo with the hub caps has the trim without the skirts. 1 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted June 25 Posted June 25 It is a nice-looking Monte for the color combo with the vinyl top, and interior color. Take the skirts off and put on a set of Cragar's, Rally's, or Torque Thrust 15" wheels on it, and then it would look like the vintage/classic cruiser car. Quote
