So I was just having a similar conversation with my buddy, we've had others over the years on auctions for example old school drag cars. As an X nascar fan this was perfect to use as an example. Ive also seen street cars "owned by somebody" . Caveat......if you run nostalgia races and they pass tech I'll give you a pass 🤣 Otherwise, unless you own a museum what good are they? Would you pay extra just because the car was once owned by someone famous? I'm a NO on that

Even though the original owners of my 70 Monte Carlo were not famous they had a very famous Grandson. The Mussina's who passed a number of years ago, grandson is Mike Mussina who is a Hall of Fame pitcher who pitched for the Baltimore Orioles from  1991 to 2000 and the New York Yankees from 2001 to 2008 and was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall Of Fame in 2019.
