Just an FYI for everyone. There is a guy on here that tried to Hussle me. His listing on site is Buck Whisp, Richardarmstrong75@Aol.com. He was asking for money for part, and I asked him to box it up and get me a shipping total. He said I had to pay him for the part then he would box it up and get me a shipping total. Buyer beware be safe these guys pry on us guys that need parts.

He appears to be a new member that signed up recently, not a dues-paying member yet.

Keep me updated...

Steve, I tried to find a listing for the parts listing but couldn't  find anything. Could you post a link to nis listing?  I agree something like that sounds odd but him being from the United Kingdom it may be how the do it there. I can look at his listing and maybe contact him myself as an admin here on the site.

Hello, I also received a email from the same person. I am looking for a nos 70 grill. He said he had one. I don't trust anything online. been burnt once for a small amount. I would only deal with a long term member or Jared , Leo. Most members are some of the best people to help out. I value this website and membership.

Definitely a big-time scammer!

Broken English is not their native language and is probably using a language translator.

After going thru the emails Steve sent, and googling the pics in those emails, we permanently banned the scammer. He even had the stones to use pics from a post on our very own forum....

People like that should be roto-rooter'd with a large cactus....

And exactly what is wrong with AOL. I have never had any issues with AOL. So what, I am old but what works, works and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I get funny looks from people when they realize I'm using MSN.... And then it's usually mentioned that "at least you've not still using AOL"....... :k

But now I feel a bit younger.  ;)

I still use AOL mail too, had that email address for years. It still works fine. My company made me get a Gmail account when I was still working still have it never use it. I actually had to get a government email too that was the worst.
