Does anyone have a gasket for a driver remote mirror, or know where I can find one? I checked all the usual places and had no luck.

Thanks,

Bob

Hey Bob,

According to OPGI, they're the same for both remote and non remote.

Come to think of it, I can't remember ever seeing a non remote driver's mirror.

I might have one kicking around somewhere.... I'll let you know if you're still looking.

This is what I dug out of the box....

Let me know if it's what you're looking for.

I'm not sure. The mirror has two  studs that go through the top of the door and have nuts on them. The mirror does not have the bracket. I think it takes a wider gasket.

The stud gasket is different.

Now that I think of it, the metal bracket is for the "cheaper" generic Chevelle mirror, so it woulndn't be the right one.

As for the stud gasket Dennis mentioned, it's a full/solid piece with three holes in it. One for the mirror cables and two for the bolts.

The gaskets I have came with the aftermarket passenger's mirror...... For some reason they sent gaskets for both sides of the car with the right side mirror.

I'm not sure if they even still make the full piece gaskets anymore.

I will look down the garage for you tomorrow. The remote mirror is the same for Monte Carlo, Chevelle, impala, I had an NOS mirror years ago and they put 3 different gaskets in the box, and they were all marked in the mold which one for which car. They all had a different angle to them because of the different door shape.

Was wondering if you still needed it.
