Jackaroo Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Reassembling my front end and I’m wondering how to determine the left from right steering knuckles behind the spindle. Can someone show the correct position and how to tell left from right? thanks in advance! Quote
B-Man Posted July 23 Posted July 23 @Jackaroo, I just a few minutes ago posted in my suspension upgrade thread. I have a few photos of my 72 front suspension (unmolested) in there, which may prove useful to you? 3 Quote
Dtret Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Set them against the spindles and the hole for the tie rod will point in to the center of the car. 6 1 Quote
Jackaroo Posted July 23 Author Posted July 23 Thank you! This did help and is appreciated. Your picture brought up another issue. A bunch of sources say for reinstallation, the backing plate goes onto the spindle before the caliper bracket. Mine only assembles with the caliper bracket first. Any thought on this? Quote
