I made a few 3/4"x 3" "L" brackets bent at 1"-2", then drilled holes in the 1" section for the studs on the fin. Once I centered it, I drilled holes into the tray below the radiator where the bracket lined up to. ( be sure to use blocking so that you don't drill into the rad. ) Then aligned the brackets to match the holes. Once it's mounted, it sits flush with the rad support with enough rake to force air up. I'll try and get some pics for you. Scott. Quote

Does it clip to the bottom of the bumper ??? The '69 Camaro's sat back from the bumper and channeled air through the radiator, your's is more of an aerodynamic design to reduce wind resistance. Look's good, but the idea of using two to make it wider sounds like an interesting thought. Quote

Look's good, but the idea of using two to make it wider sounds like an interesting thought. It has four holes in the top and three in the bottom. Top holes didn’t line up with any holes in the bumper so I lined it up best I could then used four sheet metal screws with washers to the bumper. Bottom I used the two small brackets that came with it in the hardware kit on the two outer holes used the clip and bolts that came with it on spoiler side and it lined up with bumper bracket where it got sheet metal screws with washers, center one is to long not needed it’s strong in the middle. It didn’t come with any instructions so I wanted it for the aerodynamic look didn’t need it for cooling have 4 core with duel fans.As far as putting some together not for me it is plastic, when I get some time I might try to make a metal one. 1 Quote
