420ponies Posted August 3 Posted August 3 It looks like water coming out of the top trim. that's not a crack in the paint/bodywork ! 2 Quote
BobW Posted August 3 Posted August 3 As long as it drains and doesn't sit there under the top and rust! 2 Quote
RON T Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Rear window seal?, be going inside the trunk eventually if not addressed.. Quote
cbolt Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Better to be draining there and not into the trunk. Could be the window trim and no reason to get excited. Luckily that corner trim is easily removed and you can inspect the area to determine where the water is coming from. 4 Quote
cny first gen 71 Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Mine does that too when I wash it with water, think they all do. Blow it out so it don't sit there for long or take it out for a ride to dry it off. I don't use water on mine very much just dust it off or use some detail spray. 4 Quote

Mine gets a real bath only after traveling long distances to the meets and shows, otherwise it's detail spray and a light dusting. The thing you have to be aware of is if dirt gets up under the trim the dirt will hold the moisture. That's when the trouble starts. 7 Quote
Canuck Posted August 3 Author Posted August 3 It’s just water coming out from under the vinyl top trim. The car needed a good wash after the Western Meet road trip. A short 70 mph drive took care of it. If I don’t take it for a drive after a wash, I blow it out with the air compressor. 8 Quote
keith72monte Posted August 3 Posted August 3 I use a leaf blower to dry my cars, micro fiber what's left. Then i put towels in the rear quarter where water drips out. I'm getting to old to sweat the small stuff. 4 Quote
