Thanks for letting me join the group ! My first car was a 1972 MC ,Sequoia Green with green cloth interior, had the turbine hub caps - need to fine the old photos ! I loved that car and know 50 years later looking for a really really nice MC . Looking for a AC bucket seat car but not a deal breaker for the right car! I still like the 72's the best -personal preference really.  Question has anyone dealt with Auto and Powersports sales out of Mississippi? Thanks again for the invite and looking forward to making some of your meets in the future!

Welcome Rick. We have a few members that are always looking at cars on the net. Post up some of your “ must haves “ and the price range you have. Also whether you want a done car, partially done or one that you want to rebuild or restore. Are you an original guy, resto mod or something in between?

Definitely a stock guy ,but I've seen some tasteful restomods that I like and as long as the car "appears stock" with the mods done for HP ,exhaust, ride and safety. Looking for a #1 or 2 car and must have AC and would like to have buckets. Colors? In order Sequoia green,  both blues, black ,Mojave gold ,cranberry, black cherry and silver. Price range ? Up to 50k

Welcome! Good luck with your search. You should be able to find a very nice 72 Monte within that budget.

I know a club member in Alberta with a nice 1972 Monte with Pewter paint, white vinyl top and Pewter interior 1972 Monte for sale. Bucket seats, 454 engine, TH400 transmission. Send me a message if you would like more info.

Welcome aboard the boards Matty!!!  We hope you like what you see here and decide to become a full fledged dues paying member of the club.  You have found the best club/group dedicated to the First Generation Monte Carlo.  Thank you for your military service.

Welcome to the Club Rick !!  Semper Fi brother!!  Sounds like the one you had was a '72 "Custom". Only year they were made. Lots of information here on all 1st Gens. Questions? ask away, always someone here to give you good advice. Just letting you know , we like to spend other people's money on here. It's that  old "snowball" effect.
