2026 Eastern Meet & Carlisle "GM Nationals" Hotel and Meet Details

It's that time to start planning for next year's Carlisle FGMCC Eastern meet!

The actual dates for the GM Nationals will be June 19th & 20th, 2026, which is a Friday and Saturday. This will be a full-blown Eastern Meet for our Club, which means we'll be judging & giving out award plaques for our member's cars, as well as the judging that Carlisle itself does. We'll be following pretty much the same format as past years, like the Thursday pizza party, Saturday night dinner, etc. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or wants to volunteer to do some type of event or activity for the group's benefit, please share your ideas.

 

We already have a block of rooms reserved at our usual hotel, the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Carlisle, PA. You can start making your hotel reservations now by calling the Fairfield Inn and Suites and identifying yourself as a FGMCC Member. Their phone number is: 717-243-2080.

For Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights the room rates will be the same for each night at $199.00 per night.  They will have Queen/Queen Rooms, King Rooms, Queen/Queen Suites and King Suites.  All of these rooms will be at the same room rates.

If anyone arrives on Wednesday the room rates will be $169.00.  All rooms will be Plus Taxes.

Right now, we have a block of 40 rooms reserved for our Club, with more rooms likely available if needed, as in the past. As always, you MUST be a full-dues paying member to attend the event itself, and also reserve a room at FGMCC rates.

Not yet.

This year I didn't register with Carlisle immediately as in the past, when they offered the 10% off after the show. It seems they tend to offer better deals later in the year, and apparently don't offer refunds for the difference if they do offer a lower price down the road (which is sort of crappy if you want the truth.. They did it last year for me, but apparently they weren't supposed to.).

I'll wait a bit, and if I see something that looks decent (or if anyone else does), post it here and we can go from there.

It was at least that last year, Larry. Some 55 Chevy remembrance or something like that, was the one I got the best deal with. I think I got it for $19.95 maybe, then added the trailer parking on top of that.

Rob has sent me a bunch of info to help plan next year's event, and in part of that stuff was a sheet that I'll need to gather info for planning/tracking members, and the class you'll be entering your car for judging. This will also help so we can start thinking about numbers for award plaques, dinner accommodations, etc.

 

If you get the chance, please send me the info below by email or forum PM, so I can start the lists. (There's a better than average chance I'll be reaching out behind the scenes as well, to get any info from you too).

 

CLUB REGISTRATION

 

 So you can properly class your car please use the below guidelines:

 

·         STOCK CLASS -  0 to 3 Alterations from possible Factory Correct

·         STREET CLASS -  4 TO 6 Alterations from possible Factory Correct

·         MODIFIED CLASS – 7 to 10 Alterations from possible factory correct

·         SUPER MODIFIED OR CUSTOM MODIFIED – 11 or more Alterations from possible Factory Correct
