keith72monte Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Well it looks like a 72 with the trim on the back. I think it is a custom because it looks like there are 6 holes in sail panel area for the MC emblem and the custom emblem. driver side looks like the custom emblem is there just too bury to confirm. I would save my money for a nicer condition car. I have a 72 u code 402 car all original 68k miles in nice driver condition. Would need repaint to be a show car. I'm debating on selling it. but not for 2200 lol ad a extra zero and maybe i might sell it lol Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted August 7 Posted August 7 It's a 72 that someone installed a 70 front bumper and grille on. Quote
Dtret Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Wide belt molding, steering wheel and sport mirror. I’d agree custom. Too bad it’s a column shift. 1 Quote
willie Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Agree She is a Custom!! However how can you get the Vin and engine stamp wrong???/? Shady!!! Quote
Rob Peters Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Everyone beat me to the 72 Custom items on a Monte listed as a 70. The first thing I noticed was the hood spear, then the Sport Mirror, then the Belt Moulding, then Steering Wheel.. on my phone I could not see the extra holes on the sail panel. rob Quote
714024SPEED Posted August 8 Posted August 8 She definitely needs work ,but I also think it's a custom. Up front it got a little of everything 70 bumper ,grill 71 headlight bezels . Quote
