fountain4ever Posted August 9 Posted August 9 We recently added a Vapor Trapper to our car and that gas smell that has ALWAYS been there is now gone. I was just at Hot August Nights with some friends, and I saw their booth in the Summit Racing Pavilion and thought I would post here. If you have a gas smell when you go out to your garage - you might want to try this. It works great and immediately removed the gas smell. vaportrapper.com Quote
willie Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Tom, very cool and thanks for posting!!! On another note i think i would put a gasket of some kind around that hose in the trunk, i know its probably only vapor but in case it rubs through, you don't even want vapor in your trunk!!! 1 Quote
1970mcss Posted August 10 Posted August 10 How did you connect the vapor hose? Did you tap into the filler neck ? Or tap into an existing vent line? Did you change the vented gas cap? 23 hours ago, fountain4ever said: We recently added a Vapor Trapper to our car and that gas smell that has ALWAYS been there is now gone. 1970mcss Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I ended up installing a new tank with 2 vent pipes. I also installed the factory vent with 2 hoses. What a difference, the smell is gone and the car seems to run better. 3 Quote
