So I had my TH400 rebuilt last season and the kickdown switch on the drivers side has been replaced 2x since then and still has slight leak after sitting overnight. The old one was also leaking and part of the reason I had the rebuild done. Any suggestions or do I just live with it.

Thanks guys

Is it leaking from the terminals, or the outer o-ring seal?

Hi Joe, Outer O-ring around the switch. 2 brand new switches and still leaks in that area

Thanks

Now that you mention terminals I'll need to verify which one causing it. I just assumed it was the o ring

Thank you

Maybe spray a little brake clean or something on there to clean it up nice, blow it off with air.

Probably the o-ring, but better to verify for sure.

Sounds like the cap is cracked.... You've got to watch those "off shore" parts.  :(

Agreed Scott the parts quality for the past few years has been sketchy. What cap are you saying might have a crack? I have it cleaned up and going to run it this weekend to verify if it's the seal or terminals where the fluid is coming out of. Frustrating!

I’m assuming it the plastic part the terminals come out of.

Well after checking the switch again looks like the oring seal is leaking again. I was going to order another and try again?

Lube it up good before installing,  most of the problems with o-rings is damage installing them, especially square cut o-ring seals.
