I am wondering if anyone has replaced just the plastic radio bezel with the cups rather than the whole dash carrier, the previous owner cut the radio opening and the cups out.

Thanks, Steve

If the dash is cut you may be screwed. But if you are putting the wood grain bezel back on that will hide the repair. The link that Cody posted for Beldon Speed ( rust replace) will definitely give you more options. Post pictures so the rest of us can see what you are doing. The could render a teaching moment for other members. Remember it’s things like this that make this site what it is. THE BEST.

This one was cut around radio also but you can see how it looks with cups installed and will hold radio in.

It amazes me that people in the 80's chewed on sheet metal like beavers, was there a nationwide nutritional deficiency? My package tray and dash looked like that, except the dash plastic was blown out like they opened it with a hammer.

Wow I could have used this info months ago. I ended up picking up another dash assembly because my radio cups were broken..

This is relatively new. I don’t believe it was available when you got your new dash.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification Dennis.
