jbird72 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I need one new headlight, but I figured I'd change them both out any recommendations on some decent. Looking headlights, then aren't too modern, but still have a decent amount of brightness Quote
Blackhawk Posted September 4 Posted September 4 How much do you want to spend? There are good choices for halogen and LED, but I would avoid LEDs that don't have a projector. 2 Quote
Robnhood Posted September 4 Posted September 4 These are the headlights that I purchased from Headlight experts, and I would recommed them. https://www.headlightexperts.com/h6024-dual-beam-sealed-beam-led-headlight-conversion-kit 4 Quote
cny first gen 71 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 On mine i just put in regular halogen sealed beam, brighter than oem bulbs. I really don't drive mine at night very often, very seldom for that matter. 3 Quote

They are definitely brighter. But just remember to take your sun glasses off . I was coming back from a show one time and was just dusk so turned headlights on as it got a bit darker i was having trouble seeing my buddy was with me he said I can see fine. Got all the way home and then realized I still had my sunglasses on, he didn't tell me either 😅 so now I always make sure. I've had them in there at least 12 years and haven't had to change them yet. Probably only used them a dozen times since I got the car 18 years ago. 1 2 1 Quote
Scott S. Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I went with the Sylvania H6024 "Silverstar" bulbs..... The price for the bulbs from Headlight Experts didn't jibe with the amount of use I would get from them. 3 Quote
BobW Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I bought these 3 years ago: https://www.amazon.com/Hella-002395031 They fit properly, look like a standard headlight and have a nice clean flat cutoff, no scatter. I use a standard low/high LED and have never been flashed by oncoming traffic. I live semi-rural and travel many 2 lane country roads and really appreciate having clean white light on the road. 3 Quote

I upgraded mine years ago, I don't drive the Monte at nite, but needed more light at the end of the track. I even have to hit the high beams on the DD 🙃 1 Quote
