Hey I wanted to make a post here for looking back at all the benchracing, technical resources, support and genuinely honest comradarie of the Monte Carlo community. — encouragement really matters!

I wish the admins over the years who keep it sane in what must be a wild social media realm.   

Faced with constant challenges over the years with time, place, and money to restore my car I recently made the decision to let my car go. It’s going to Maple motors, a classic resale lot in Nashville in hopes that someone can give it some attn. check out their youtube channel. 

 

Project Backburner

It just didn’t fit where I am in my life anymoreand the sentimental baggage connected to the car for both my parents who have passed were just not hitting like I had hoped they would. my dad did a ton of work on it and passed from Alzheimer’s a few months ago. 

So I’ve turned over a new leaf, got out of the old car scene and on to something else unique, & sporty- a “personal luxury coupe’” of sorts, VW Arteon- hey it has frameless windows and a decent grill.
