malware battle

I have gotten what I believe to be all of the infected areas

cleaned with the help from my buddy Steve.

 

I am blocked from admin priveledges, running firefox,

installing anything and running any kind of anti-anything.

 

Any suggestions?

go there. They are AWESOME people.. be patient.. they are all volunteers. it's a slow process.. they will ask you to do a LOT of things.. sometimes several times over.. but I've enlisted their help with 3 different computers.. and every time it's been 100% successful.

Here is a little tip I just learned as well:

 

If you use a bluetooth keyboard and/or mouse, try to find a USB

keyboard and mouse to use if you need to get to safe mode on

boot-up. The bluetooth ones do not work until the drivers are

booted and that is beyond the point of entering safe-mode. At

least on my PC anyways.

I guess that's like starting your car in safe mode, and finding out that the windshield goes black and the steering wheel doesn't work.

that link i posted before will remove any malware issue you have w/o wiping the machine.

Sometimes you can go into processes and if you find a virus running stop it but its prob in your registry someplace best option is to re format. I had a bad virus on my PC about 3 months ago I could run task manager or even open the cmd prompt.

if this doesn't cure your issues, then post in the forum for help.. they are good people and like I've said.. I've rescued two computers with this site.. working on a 3rd one right now.
