allchevy Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I'm looking at buying a 750cfm for my 70 monte with a 402/30 over. Street only. Any suggestions and why. Like double pumper or mechanical verses vacuum secondaries. Thanks Don Quote
dbreese Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hey Don, I'll take a stab and say go with a Holley 750 with vacuum secondaries. You can buy a secondary spring kit to fine tune it. This will make a great street carb. David Quote
Winston Wolf Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 For that setup, i would run an electric choked Edelbrock Performer series. Easiest to tune, best starting, and will run like a top. They are a mechanical secondary carb but use a vacuum flapper to ease in the secondries. Quote
680HPStroker Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Call the folks at at AED in Richmond VA. They will fix you up with the right carb for your application unless you like tinkering. Quote
