Andreas Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 If you have not tried Google Chrome yet, I would suggest you check it out. Just installed it and WOW! Goodbye, Internet Explorer... Quote
7tonemonte Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I actually just downloaded that today Andreas. Im amazed at the speed difference, I dont even understand how just using a different browser speeds it up that much but it did make a heck of a difference. Quote
stangeba Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I've been using it for ?? years, since the first week it was released. Got so sick of IE and it's sloooow loading. I use G-mail all the time now also and like it. Bruce Quote
Ian Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I use it sometimes to test website development. It is a very standards compliant browser and some sites do not show up right in it. Our site was tested in all 3 different browsers when I was setting up the new server. I found somethings that I just could not get to show up 100% like I wanted them to in Chrome. I personally use Firefox for 99% of my browsing, running on Linux. Quote
Marc A. Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 It was my favorite until they announced they're dropping support for H.264, which is absolutely ridiculous. My order of preference now: 1. Safari for general browsing (great speed) 2. Firefox for web development 3. Well, that's it. Quote
Mike G Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Hey Marc, Look at you right next door to me! Quote
