Â there is a difference, I don't remember what, when I first got my '71 I replaced the mounts and had a hard time getting the correct ones Quote
JOHNA01374 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 The mounts that go on the frame are all the same in these cars. I've done a few SBC to BBC swaps in Chevelles and the motors drop right in. I have seen different motor cups attached to the blocks so that could be the difference you're seeing. Quote
Mike 57 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 When we did Jack's swap last year we went with poly mounts, dropped right in. Don't understand, maybe it is the configuration of some of the factory mount that goes on the block. Quote
