Did my 72 350 auto come with side or top battery posts, and how can I tell if this stock 350 has 1.5 or 1.6 ratio rockers?

My 71 350 NO A/C came with side mounts. I believe the side mount was a SS or big block thing starting in 1970 then went mainstream on all our cars in 71 and for many years thereafter. Many tow truck drivers didn't like the side mount because the heads of the bolts were so small their large jumper cables didn't stay on very well. BTW, mine are still original. Rockers (not sure but I think) 1.5

My 72 BB had side mount, now it is top mount and in the trunk! All SBCs had 1.5 stamped steel rockers.

72 350 with air has top mount and I think that it's the orignal...but not 100% positive.

My 70 as far as I know came with a top mount battery and it was born with a 400 small block with a/c. Dad had a 70 Chevelle ss396 all original and it had a top mount battery no air. Our 70 El Camino was a 350 no air car and it looks to have came from the factory with a top mount battery as well. All three cars came out of the Maryland plant.
