Door jam decal

Just wondering the exact placement of the door jam decal pictured as the icon for this section. I know it goes on the quarter panel, drivers side door jam but not the exact placement. I don't have the fisher body book that would tell me, so I figured someone here would know and help. Thanks.

I thought they went on the doors themselves, but not on our cars. I dont think they were on them from the factory, maybe it was earlier years than our cars?

Im pretty sure I read somewhere maybe here that they didnt come on the Monte Carlos but wouldnt swear to it.

My 71 didn't have them but I recall the GM logo being on the door.

Both my Montes did not have a GM decal on the door or in the door jam when I got them (My 70 had 47,000 miles and my 72 has 58,000 miles).

In any research I did on this topic, I was never able to find someone with one of those on their car as new. The assembly manual does not show one for 1970 either.

My 70 Monte was a 1 owner very original car when I bought it and it did not have the decal. My 71 SS454 car did not have it either.

I think I remember this in a previous post where it seemed to be determined that our cars didn't come with this GM decal.

I've had 4 of these cars so far, and 3 with original paint. None had that sticker.
