stangeba Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Yep, rivets. I bought two extra from thew Chevy dealer 20+ years ago in-case I lost one or two. Just tapped them in with a hammer. One of the two shield parts, was a slightly different shape, but it's all they had, back then. Stock 71 350 exhaust manifolds Quote
dirtyj Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 oh boy.....can anyone send me a good pic. all the manifolds i have around here have 3 nub like raised areas. 4 sets and none have the stove still on them.... i bet those were the rivets then. any suggestions how to put on new one? Quote
cny first gen 71 Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Duct tape just kidding. I took mine off when I changed the carb and air cleaner and havent noticed a problem unless your going for 100% stock look. Quote
