Lug Nut Torque Spec Needed

I searched the site and couldn't find any info on this. Wondering what the actual torque setting is for 1970-72.

Wait I thought you torqued them as tight as a Snap-On 1/2" impact gun goes

if you do that with my impact you'll be replacing studs

My IR 231 has no problem busting studs either. I found out the hard way old Chrysler's used left hand threaded studs on the left side

I have a Snap-On cordless that will snap studs to. Powerful for a cordless.

My 3/8 snap on air gun will over torque them, I always use a torque wrench on mine.

We torque most american made cars at 100 and most foreign cars at 80. Trucks are smetimes more.
