WHITE KNIGHT 71 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Is the bottom grill support (long piece that the 3 bottom grill bolts are fastened to) the color of car or black like engine compartment? Please help.
RichG Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 From the factory it was an argent / silver color.
WHITE KNIGHT 71 Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 I went ahead and powder coated mine silver. I noticed after I unbolted it, where the washers were covering, it was silver. So I believe all cars had silver ones.
vince Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Exctely how much of the filler is seen when everything is bolted up? I am having hard time finding this part. But when I do I'll know what color it will be thanks to this post.
WHITE KNIGHT 71 Posted August 2, 2006 Author Posted August 2, 2006 I don't know how much is seen. This was more of a question of how was it originally for my frame off resto. Right now I only have the radiator support put together not on the frame with the bumper on it that's why I don't know how much is seen. I disassembled my 71 over 2 years ago so I don't remember. These supports are all over ebay almost constantly, so you should be able to find one.
Sam (Bones) Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 if you can't find one, call Leo,(KLASSIK1) Koniks Klassiks, on the parts page, he'll be able to help
