Canuck Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 10TH ANNUAL WESTERN MEET Goodguys Great Northwest Nationals Spokane, WA August 15-18, 2013 This is our 10th annual Western Meet and the event chosen for the event will be our biggest to date with 1,500 cars. The event is limited to cars 1972 and older so we will fit in there nicely. I have heard nothing but good things about this event. It is supposedly well organized with lots to see and do throughout the weekend. With the great number of FGMCC members at the last two Western Meets in the Northwest, I suspect this meet will also be well attended. There is a fair amount of shopping a short drive away for the spouses who may decide 3 days of car show is too much. The Super 8 appears to meet all our needs: - Close to the fairgrounds - Dennys right next door and several other restaurants nearby - Some shopping a short drive away too (need to keep the other half happy too) - Lots of room for our cars and trailers - Appears to be a nice area - The room rates are about $65 to $75 per night if you stay 3 or more nights.
