Got my new cragar D-windows installed along with new Indy 500 Firehawk tires. 235/60/15 fronts 255/70/15 rears for those who are interested.

Any and all positive/negative opinions are welcome. I know it sits high, but I like it :-D

That's definately the look of today. It looks great. Not my cup of tea, but I just old.

I love chrome chrome wheels and polished aluminum and usally hate black wheels, but I like these and they look great on your monte. And I also like the stance too

Mark, when I compare this photo with your signature photo, I'd say you have achieved a lot with your wheel/tire change. You have been able to express the kind creativity and individuality that sets your Monte apart from the masses. I really appreciate that talent in others because I am so hopelessly left-brained that I seldom, if ever, come up with anything creative.

With that aggressive stance and the "any terrain capability" look of your wheels and tires, your Monte looks ready to take on all comers anywhere. Nice job! I like it!

I say to each is own, the wheels look good but I am a huge fan on the rally wheels. For me they are the best rim well the 8in wide ones are the better ones, although I don't have mine on yet. I still run the 7in ones. Car looks good for sure like I said even if they are not my choice.

I don't dislike the rally's, I actually like them a lot! I just like the blacked out look better.

As far as selling them goes, I am working with a member right now. I will post them here if anything falls through.

i have air shocks so i can lower it easily just to see how it would look. How many inches lower should i try?

Mark, if lowering the rear doesn't fly, maybe you could install 2 inch spacers in your front coils, get a vanity plate that says "72 MC A/T" and make all the Jeep owners jealous! grin There isn't any amount of bling they could throw at their rides to compete with the good looks of your Monte!

Will those rear tires rub if you take it down 2 inches, or will they tuck under?

I like it, by the way. I'm a sucker for rake.

The front is sort of high so I would make it level. Once you lower the rear the weight will transfer and the front should come up a bit too.

But we need a new pic to confirm smile

I let out all the air in the rear and it closed the gap a lil bit. I think I'm going to leave it like that....

Although an all terrain monte would be pretty sweet!
