G71 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 hey: 1971 350 i suspect the fusible links might be fried. where are they located (pictures?) any advice on replacement would be appreciated. also, other than the obvious fuse box area are there any other locations with fuses that would cause the car to loose total power? thanks Quote
stangeba Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I don't know if any of these (picture) are fusible links, but it's a good place to start checking for power. Rt side Power spot Quote
wallaby Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Yep, that's the first place to check. The pigtail wire that goes from the positive side of the battery to this little junction block has a fusible link in it. Quote
Toppless72 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 There should be a black 10 gauge wire attached to the large stud on the starter. It runs up to the horn relay. That wire should have a fuseable link about 8 to 12 inches from the starter. Let us know what you find. Quote
