twobru Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Anyone know what the right hose/tubing is to use for the vacuum actuators on the heater box and where to get them? Are they 1/4" diameter? How long are they? The person that initially removed my heater box cut them so I don't know the length of any of them. Does anyone know of the place that makes reproductions or do I have to try and find aftermarkets (one of the ones on the heater box appears to be black and orange)? I've checked sites like Vintage Air, Classic Air, Old Air Products, etc with little to no success.
Canuck Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 If you have any pieces of the hoses, try taking them to your local auto parts store. They may have some that you can cut to the length you need.
LS5 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 if you hit any of the autowreckers and manage to find a Chevelle with AC they will fit too. chevelle non ac or ac cars all the underdash pieces inter change... Darren.
