Paul Bell Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 On the other forums I subscribe to, there are threads like this. They're usually pretty active. So, what did you do to your Monte Carlo today?
Canuck Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 We had one of these threads a while back and it was pretty active. I drove my 70 today. Nice dry roads and there was a local car club meeting so I thought I'd take it out.
bigtankjones Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 We had a thread going on this subject a few months ago. Well, anyways. I start my teardown on my '70 Sunday Morning. Redoing the car for the 2nd time. I took it for a little ride Saturday afternoon and got one last photo of it before I started. Â
70mcarlo Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 If you'd parked a few feet further back it would look like you've got a Huey hood ornament. Â Have fun with your redo!!!
Paul Bell Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 Today I stopped by my garage, popped the hood and had a long hard look at it all. I'm making plans....

Leghome Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I hope you primed it before putting on the seam sealer.

cny first gen 71 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I thought about going to the garage and pulling the plugs to see if any are fouled which would explain the skip that started the last time out but I didnt, I have all winter now that snow is flying and the roads are salted.

ddiddle Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Stashed Christmas presents in it I did the same thing - right on the front seat. She'll never even think to lift the car cover and look there.

monte70car Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Tuesday pulled the drivers door panel off to take a look at why the drivers window would not go up, finally got the window up along with the rest of the windows. Today turned to start it so it can visit the out side weather for a few days but no luck even with the choke close, turns over but no fire.
Sam (Bones) Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 been working on installing the drivers side trim Â
black07ss Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Trim looks great Sam!! That scratch should buff right out
