Rear Brake Lines Needed

Here is a good one. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

 

I am replacing the 71 Monte 10 bolt with a Moser 12 bolt from a 66 Chevelle.

 

Do I buy rear lines for a 66 Velli or a 71 monte?

If it came with the backing plates from the Velle you may want to go with those as the angle or height from the axle to wheel cylinder could be different. If you are using stainless steel lines they don't adjust very easily.

I think everything is the same except the width of the rear. You would get the better fit with the Chevelle lines, IMO.

Thanks guys and yes I am going with Stainless. LOL I guess I need to post over at "What did you do to your Monte today" Purchased Chevelle brake lines.

66 velle is 53.5 plate to plate, 70 Monte is 54.5. Get the lines for the 66, and dont forget the rubba hose.
