Malyc Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Anyone able to tell me if there are any problems associated with this? (Other than the inside tire spinning faster than the outside around a corner.) Was thinking about going posi, but a couple guys at work said that was an option. Quote
Toppless72 Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 This is not a good option. It's mainly used on Demolition derby cars. You will strip or break axels continuously. I’d look for a good aftermarket Posi unit. Quote
Malyc Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 Somehow, I figured that'd be the answer... Alright, thanks Top. Quote
monte70car Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 If you want a posi/locker take a look at the Powertrax unit. I missed one in my 70 Monte 10 years ago. The install was easy and it works as a posi when in a straight line going around turns it unlocks the inside wheel and the locks it back up when you nail it. Quote
