front dust shield upper bolt

does anyone know what size the upper bolt is that attaches the front dust shield to the spindle? my drivers side bolt is all galled up after removing it from the old spindle and i dont want to mess up the threads on my new spindle trying to put this bolt in. i can't seem to find this bolt for my car.

For some reason 1/2" x 20 rings a bell to me.

 

Remove another bolt out and take it to the hardware store to match it up.

the stock ones have a thinner head, don't know how much of a difference that makes I'm sure Jared or Leo would have one
