I am sure that any local parts supplier can handle any basic car parts you need (napa) and if you are not willing to do the work yourself any competent mechanic can do this for you...sometimes money well spent is having someone else do the job...correctly

no problem at all ryder.... when you get doing restorations and other stuff there are soo many different ways and opinions and products out there..I think I have about a hundred bookmarks in my monte parts and procedures folder I forget I have duplicates too...I bookmark stuff that I find because when its time to do that thing or buy that thing its there...hopefully What part of the prov. are you in btw?

ummmm you asked this Dec. 28 hey guys my cars finally painted going too take the frame down in a few weeks and get it on. quick question, I bought all new body mounts and the optional 2 extra ones for a 454, my car had a 350 but I figured I would need these two extra mounts. Does anyone know where they are supposed too go?

as Sam answered this one a bit ago ...there are 2 body mounts on each side at the fire wall on the curvy part of the frame

I will be doing the same job come summer...but i have talked to leo konnick and there is a lot of work to make these wheelhousings fit....He does sell massaged outers but it is a big drive for me...Give him a shout..he will educate you as he did me...As for me I will just have to figure it out on my own... strange why they don't make the outers

hello all... thought I'de take the weekend and do some stripping to the metal...surprise surprise !!! I have a nice dent with some holes right in the middle of the door....Are there replacement skins available or shall I buy a 50 gal bucket of bondo?..the panel also has some good waves to it too I also got some a-arms from here http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...id=300430157901 complete set for 210 I dont need heidts or any other big name brand...they are massively built and are of good quality that I can see thanks Bill

thanks guys...any advice is great to ponder as I still have not got to that point of cutting the frame yet. I'm just running over with what I want over what is feasible. I know I can have anything I want as long as I throw money at it, however there are options. there are good fabbers in my area too which helps things too

there is a fellow up the street that may be interested in copying the frame using 2x3 tubing..would be cheaper than driving for 2 days..fuel and final price for me..alot closer for you

Robert I think I found the company you are referring to ...s & w race cars...not a bad price and a days drive for me..there...worth considering...checkered is in Indiana and I drove there to get mar car lol...now if I could find something where you are Carl...definitely worth the drive

i have been looking at those too Robert...I actually found one for the montes, but you guys get access to everything south of the border... I have been contemplating using rectangular tubing to keep the $$ down but if it is worth it might try...just wondering if anyone here has done it...Sam there are you tube videos but most pertain to doing straight frame trucks..not the compounding curves of our vehicles...that I can find
