  1. You guys look great in this shot. Kevin, you look like a young Glen Campbell.
  2. Hope this helps? Good luck.. PART# 35-186 linky GM TEMPERATURE SENDING SWITCH PIGTAIL
  3. I can't believe only one yellow, so far, what gives, now I know I've seen at least two here.. what up you chickens.
  4. Pulse-width modulation.. not all LED lights can be dimmed. Reduced duty cycle = reduced average current/power = reduced apparent brightness. At one time we couldn't even control the rapid duty cycle. Home dimmers are made with electronic circuitry which suppress current flow during defined portions of each cycle of AC line voltage. With home lighting and special dimmers it can be achieved, although just like with fluorescent lighting with low frequency drive voltages LEDs will flicker. I've never tried using our headlight dimmer as a LED dimmer? If it works I doubt it would dim them 0 to 100%, full-range dimming from what I've seen has to be matched, with a dim-able LED and the right dimmer. Of course this is all home use..
  5. What? Black has taken the lead.. MR Green still MIA
  6. I caramba I like it.. did it put some pep in her step.
  7. Yes is can be, bronze lifter bushings come to mind. It's a common repair mostly on Chrysler blocks? I remember when I was a kid and worked at a machine shop, Chrysler blocks were lined up for such repair.
  8. Nice! All I can say is exemplar work..a beauty in the making. The "colour" a nice choice.
  9. I can't believe no one has voted for White? and Mr green is still MIA..
  10. I like it... looking good! Keep up the good work.. I'm baking bread right now!! Nice hot weather today! Thumbs-up!
  11. he voted Red... he doesn't like to admit it, but his favorite color is "Red". Especially if it comes in a beach towel.
  12. Where's the big green Baby?
  13. We'll I know it's a green '70.. and it does not just pop off.. look on the back side of the steering wheel and remove two horn pad screws. You'll probably want to unhook the battery, if the horn works. A steering wheel puller comes to mind since most '70 steering wheels are very delicate and mostly always cracked, remove, check to see if steering shaft centering mark is at top, relocate steering wheel as needed. If centering mark is not indexed properly another problem is afloat. Centering mark on shaft should be at top when tires are facing straight..
  14. Yellow! Yellow! Yellow!
  15. What if you're color blind?
  16. My bad.. it won't happen again..
  17. Bob & Larry for RED = 40% Larry your's is not red currently.. OOPS! Scott.. 43%
  18. The color of what?
  19. Nice! You keeping the standard ignition?
  20. shift code.. 1:1st 2:2nd 3:3rd
  21. Yet the legibility is dependent on the amount of spirits consumed during lunchtime.
  22. those are casting #'s, the decoding #'s usually stamped on the passenger side axle tube,.... usually!! Not a casted number but a stamped number. What you're looking for is the (decoding #) assy stamp.
  23. I like the color..looks like a lot of flake. Any at all or is it just an illusion? Looks like a metallic red or burgundy?
  24. Depending on the year, this schematic may not fully apply. Though if you look closely, it can be either a blown in-line fuse or a bad relay. Very rare for the switch to be bad. Though the high speed was never controlled via the resistor.
  25. Nice! That's one of those options you wish you had, when you misplace and have locked the car keys in the trunk.
