  1. I can appreciate all the work put into it. I really like the hood
  2. Interesting question. I like to keep them as original as possible up to a certain point. This is my 1971 350 4 speed with 90,000 miles. The paint is cracked and chipped in areas. Even comes with two rust holes in the lower front fenders, but the trim covers most of it, lol. The car is so well documented and so original, i just cant bring myself to paint it.....yet.
  3. Good to know Dennis. I need to order a kit.
  4. Welcome Keith. Although I have no specifics to share, I have seen a few convertible projects in the last little while that have come up for sale. Check our 4 sale section.
  5. I might be biased but it really is a beautiful Monte, good luck with the sale Aaron.
  6. Nice work John, looking good.
  7. Nice SS. I find it Interesting that it was a Baltimore built car, yet shipped up to Canada.
  8. Welcome!!!! This is a great group with lots of knowledge.
  9. Those look good Dennis.
  10. Good information Aaron. I have two 1971 with the 402 and they have the spacer, not the spring loaded heat riser.
  11. Legendary would have them but they are pricey.
  12. You cant open up the interior of this spacer very much as it is meant to hold the exhaust donut to connect to the exhaust pipe.
  13. If I remember correctly Aaron, those exhaust manifolds are the correct date coded originals for the car.
  14. Thanks for keeping us posted Dan. I love the "pile of new parts" 😊
  15. Congrats everyone
  16. I have seen approx 10 x 1971 with the seat belt warning window. I have 2 very low mileage 71 with the window and i do not believe that the bezel has been changed. In my humble opinion I think some 1971 had the seat belt warning in the dash. I have no proof but having seen so many, I doubt they have all been changed out. I have also had good results with cleaning the burlwood (careful on the letters) and spraying with Eastwood satin clear. Makes them pop back to new. This one was pretty weathered before I restored it.
