I talked to a guy at Luttys, and he said they had them, But in the catalog it was listed as soor felt with special moldings, so Im not too sure now from what you say. The original ones on your car dont have any chrome at all right, they are just black. That is what my 71 has on it. I was going to order that kit but now Im going to check into it further. Ill let you know what I find out and keep me posted on your end. Tony

I just did the same swap this weekend, not only do you need the throttle bracket. but edelbrock sells a trans cable extention for your application. I ordered mine today and Ill let you know how it works. I dont have the part # at home, its in the car, but Ill email you the # tomorrow. Tony

The only way I have found to remove the drip rail moldings is I started at the front by the windshield up underneath the molding, and with a putty knife I got it started and then just ran the knife towards the back of the car, peeling the bottom of the molding off, then the top pops free. But I must warn you that it kind of twisted mine a little bit, I was told that they would go back on and be straight but havent tried it yet because they were a real pain to get off. Good luck.
