I'm trying to figure out my factory kickdown harness. I just dug up my factory harness and found these. Does anybody know where to pick up the harness highlighted on the left? Also is this the whole assembly or are there other parts to it that plug into the switch on the gas pedal.

Does anybody make a repair adapter that fits on the end of an accelerator cable? I was trying to clamp my end because it wouldn't grip on the ball stud and it broke..

A friend actually gave that to me about 30 years ago. I was so happy to finally find a use for it.. 🤣 They use them to help support the back of a car stereo head unit. I'm sure you could find one at your local parts store.

Thanks for pointing that out Carl! I'll check and see if I can make it work. If not I made sure to have enough wire length to relocate if necessary (it's mounted with velcro).

Unfortunately I had to abandon the plate that I made for the drivers side due to my speaker magnet being too big and was hitting the wire harness on the back of my Dakota Digital gauges.. I came up with a different idea that ended up working. The dash now rests fine on both sides.

I have two sets of these panels and am trying to figure out which ones are correct. Notice on the bottom right set the bottom metal is bent out while the other set the bottom metal is straight. Is one set for a chevelle?
