You will fill out the dash cards when registering with me when you arrive at the host hotel. The numbers will also be your identification number when we draw for door prizes Saturday evening at the club dinner..

Yep, started 71 yesterday, was 70 degrees!. Kinda flooded it a bit but after that it ran great !. Didn’t drive it tho..

Thanks Joe, cooter, there will be some official FGMCC door prizes as well as some caps and T shirts of a generic nature for give away , but like Joe said, if you are coming to the eastern meet this year in Somerset , you might be able to contact him ‘Joe Tedesco’ our club president to see if he would bring them to to the meet or ship them to you. By the way, this reveals our mystery guest attending our 2025 Eastern meet in Ky as Joe Tedesco , our new FGMCC president. 💥.. let’s all welcome Joe and thank him for attending . Getting closer folks to our FGMCC Easter Meet in Somerset Ky.. May 22-24. It will be here before ya know it!!!! Get signed up soon !!!!. For those that were concerned about I40 thru N Carolina , I have included an update photo of its potential opening date. That would cut travel time to our Meet considerably!!!. More news, the Awards plaques have been shipped and will be here soon. They are beautiful and you will be proud to possess one of these if your car wins . Judging is performed by your peers and there are several catagories !!!. Winners will receive their awards at the awards dinner Saturday evening the 24th of May.. There’s been no updates to the attendance list recently so if you plan to attend , let’s get your name on the list!!. Still plenty of room and the more the merrier!!. Our club has Eastern and Western meets each year as well as mini meets at various locations ..you might want to consider attending. We always have a great time and this years Eastern meet in in Somerset Ky in May , 22-24 th.. please contact me if interested. We have a group hotel with discount prices set up very close to all the activities.. I understand that interstate 40 headed this way should be opening in April . I don’t particularly listen to that style .. play me some good Neil young, eagles, 10 years after, bob Dylan, the stones , CCR. Ect… gonna be fun 🤩!!!

At Thursday’s nights bench racing, I had mentioned it the daily activities page that we were ‘are’ giving away a prize 🏆 to the person’ , members and wives, that can name the most artist and year released in the US. Of a medley of late 60s and 70s songs I have finished compiling. The answer sheets are printed. There are no country, pop, rap, disco, Motown or classical songs in this mix. Those who attended the 2024 meet in Carlisle in 2024 got a good sample of the songs on this list , while Willi , Steve Lavoili , John Engle, Barb , and I were grilling. :).. just good music that has meaning. Back in the day when our Monte’s were young and full of vigor.!!! So brush up on that eras rock music and win that prize 🏆!!!

I’m not sure why it did that but I’ve already printed as many as needed on card stock. I believe everyone will get the jist of what it should say.. thanks tho 👍… Ron

Sitting here on my recliner, under the weather , terrible weather here too. What better day than to do some preparation for the Eastern Meet.. May 22-23-24.. Somerset Ky2025. Come join us. Make your reservations soon. Still plenty of room. Enclosed in this post is an example of the Dash cards which have been printed to place on your dash for voting purposes.. while at the meet. I’m aware that most are familiar with this procedure but we have some new attendees this year .. When you register with me at the host hotel when you arrive, you will register your car as "Stock, Street, or Modified".. You will be given the proper paperwork and instructions on how to vote for each category.. The different colors of the dash cards just identify how your are registered.. in which class.. There will be other info to place on that card as well.. we will need those back at the close of the meet so we can invite you for the next FGMCC meet or mini meet.. Note: this is a FGMCC Eastern Meet so there will be award plaques and door prizes.. any questions, or to sign up , contact me . Ron T..
