Dad's First Car to My Never Ending Project...
Dtret replied to FeSo4man's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
Progress looks great. Hopefully all go well and you can get it there. -
Do the investigation of the fuel gauge by the above suggestions but donāt let the clock be an indication of bigger issues. The clock itself is wired to an always hot circuit but in most circumstances they donāt work anyway. The clock motors go bad and are usually gummed up.

When you bled the brakes did you get complete pedal drop at all 4 wheels, individually of course?

They are coming. Weāre waiting for the Photo Mat to develop them.

You used the 303 so you had less wind resistance, donāt kid yourself. You can make it as sleek as you want but it still wonāt help you with your reaction time. š -
Seriously this time, if youāre doing special colors Iāll take a maroon and a black. Thanks. š

Can you push the button in?

Of any kind? lol.

Modifying a true survivor 1970 Monte Carlo

Another option is to just pull the engine and replace it with what you want and store the original. Yes costly ( cheaper than another car) but if you go to sell eventually youāll have the original. Any an other parts you change save them also. -

T-Storms and pouring, light hail in Cincinnati. No tornado luckily. About two hours and I can start to load up. Could be a long night but definitely worth it.
