So the metal clips with studs go on each end and then there’s a different style clip that attaches to the studs on the tail panel. Understood. Thanks for the assist on this one Jared. I’ll search the forum to see if I can find out who made the 3D replicas

Does anyone have pics on how the clips attach to the tail panel studs?

Hi- Finally found the tail panel trim for my 72 Monte Carlo, but trying to understand how they attach. I understand the tail light corners, but the long strip has some sort of short studs in the holes where it looks like the mounting clips should go. I can cut the studs off and make the hole I think goes there, but first want to understand how the mounting clips actually attach to the tail panel. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
