Dusted it off and went to a Cruise in on Saturday night. Met up with Steve, Scott, Bill, and Dom who all had their cars. Dan will have his Monte soon, finishing reconstruction. Nice turnout there. Took a nice ride early Sunday morning to Captree to meet Steve, Al, Dan, and see Greg's sleeper "Monster Monte". Still cold out, but a good turnout. We are all waiting for the weather to finally warm up here.

Finally got some time to clean up my car and meet the boys at a local weekly Saturday night "Cruise In" it was opening night with a nice turnout. It was good to see Steve, Scott , Dan and Greg there. I have been working 6-7 days a week for months now and really needed to get something accomplished with the car and get out and finally drive my Monte. It felt great, and am hoping to get out whenever my schedule will allow.

Maybe he will join us at Carlisle this year?

Congrats on a nice surprise for your first pass of the season. Quite a difference with the right part. Mother Nature needs to calm herself. At this rate, we will have no spring and go right into summer. Ice here yesterday morning too.

Keisler has manual transmission that will handle that horsepower. They are not cheap. They have 5 and 6 speed gearboxes for high HP applications.

Started it today and let it run for awhile. Last time I drove it was just before Thanksgiving. It was like Groundhog Day. Warm but no shadow, so hopefully we'll be back on the road soon. We have to wait until they clean up all the sand from the roads first. My street looks like a beach. Come on Spring !!!

Local swap meet, are usually good, or one of the larger supply houses. If you strike out, any of the Chevelle supply houses should have it. I use and like The Parts Place for the majority of my needed parts.

Congrats on your award and welcome. The Eastern Meet at Carlisle is a special show. Where else do you get the opportunity to be in a show with 30-40 or more First Generation Monte Carlo's and their proud owners? It's a great time and a lot of fun. It the best show you'll attend all year.

PM him. I have a set of Larry's brackets on my 70 SS. They are very well made and an excellent quality product. He is a fellow FGMCC member, a gentleman, and is very easy to deal with. If your a purist, good luck trying to find them. This is the best possible alternative if your looking to mount your compressor.

Some better, full line hardware stores carry Bon Ami. It is also available on line.
