Rob. Thank you for all that you have done for this club for many years. I know you will still get the itch to help out. Everytime, Rene and I made it to a meet or a gathering. You made it so much fun. Good luck to the New Leadership. We hope to see you Rob and the group this summer.

It's been awhile for me since I've posted anything on here. My Apologies. I've started getting the engine ready to drop into my Monte. I pulled this motor out of my wife's firebird last winter to put into the Monte since I blew up the Big Block two summers ago. Hoping to see some of you guys this summer in Carlisle. -

Looking Good Steve. I've been itching to ride the Harley. Had some decent days here. Once the salt is washed off the roads here. I'll get the Monte out.

I finished my master cylinder/brake booster install back in the fall. I went to get it out for the Frankenmuth Autofest block party and the brake pedal went to the floor. I'm hoping to get the Monte out more this spring, summer and drive it.

1972 Monte at an Abandoned House
bigtankjones replied to Brent C's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
WOW!! That looked just like what my 72 looked like back in high school. 1985. Same color, same hubcaps, white walls. Mine didn't have a building on top of it. And I had to drive it home in reverse. Had no forward gear. Grant to that it was just down the street from my parents house. -
Had to get mine out of the garage last Saturday so I could get the truck inside to try and replace a valve cover on it. Needless to say it was a waste of time. Ended up taking the truck to the repair shop and had them replace it. But the Monte ran a little rough. Come on warmer weather.

Very Nice. Once again. We didn't didn't make it down there. 😮💨 -
I was told a few years ago by a guy in Frankenmuth that that was his car when I handed him a club card. Boy, that car got around.

This past weekend. I installed the License plate I bought from the club store. Always wanted one of these. -
Welcome and Beautiful car.

Very cool Aaron. I've been working on a few myself. I'm currently working on a Trumpeter 1/32 F4U Corsair and a 1/18 79 trans Am. The Charger and the finished Corsair i did last year.

Opened up the trunk to look for a rag to wipe oil off my hands. Wanted put my new club plate on the front and start it. But didn't happen. To cold and blowing snow. -

My condolences to you. Our pets are like children. Very hard to let them go.

Yep. Could be bad rings, worn valve guides and valve seals.
