Stock Moog rubber bushings. The Edel's came with poly's but I'm just going to keep my stocks . I know I'll have some deflection from the stock bushings but they are only about a year old. I'll factor this into the adjustment.

Picked up my control arms yesterday. Today I took measurements to determine my total working angle. Used an angle finder to get trans, driveshaft and pinion angles then did the math. Ended up with .5 degrees total working angle. I have read (many times cause I'm kinda slow with this stuff :Ds)that this is within spec. All these measurements were taken with the car's stock suspension(sans UMI LCA relocation brackets and air bags) loaded and with 1/2 tank of gas like I normally run at the track. My pinion angle is -2 degrees with 5 psi in each air bag. Then I took the air out of the left bag to 0 psi and aired the right to 18 psi. To my suprise this changed my pinion angle to -1.0. I'm guessing that when I launched with this setup my pinion angle would go to the + side ( not good).
With the adjustable uppers I will be able to experiment with pinion angles and maybe get a little more out of my combo with less parasitic drag.
I was wupped and decided not to put the arms on today . Might try tommorrow. I thought this was going to be easy!!!!
Might try to get too the track in the next couple of weeks for some t&t.

Steve,
I run air bags and relocation brackets on the lower control arms. I preload the right side with 18 psi on the right and 0 on the left. Helps the car leave straight and helps with traction and planting the r/r tire. See pic link below;

Great Scott, my wife complains also!!!
Yea the car is fat when it's cold plus the carb (Pro Systems 780 dp) runs a little fat at idle but is deadly consistant at the track and that's a trade off I can live with. The cam doesn't help either. It's not bad at all when the car is warmed up as it burns pretty clean.

Hey Carl,
I'm running Hoosier QTP 27x10.5's. I have an 8.2 rear with an eaton p-trac 3.73 motive gears and moser c-clip axles. I also installed a heavy duty rear cover with bolts that reinforce the bearing caps for the carrier. I don't think I have quite the hp/torque numbers but I'm pretty close. I have the stock d/s with 1310 u-joints. I'm not afraid of the setup at this power level and have cut a best 1.76 60'. Your car is somewhat lighter( 3500 lbs) than mine as it is right at 3900 pounds with me and 1/2 of gas. I'm guessing if you can get your car to hook maybe 12.3's. Just a guess.

Carl,
Try www.wallaceracing.com\Calculators.htm
Ya might be able to get close but there are lots of thing that come into play. Air, converter slip, 60', etc. The best test is the ole 1320 dyno.LOL
Don't know what kind of tires you are running but some sticky DOT"s MT Hoosier will help. 60' is very important.
Good luck!

Thanks Robyn,
Gonna pull the tranny this winter for a little freshen up and a converter swap. Also a lttle more rear suspension work is planed with adjustable uppers. Hoping to wring out just a little more. As far as slaying some B/B I don't know bout that.

Cool pic's!!!! Yea once ya get everything dialed in you should be mid 10's for sure. I'm suprised the tech guys didn't go nuts with your 11.0. LOL. Did ya get the lecture?? Congrats on your new best!!

x2 with Thahn. Bought mine from Northern off of ebay and it had the 45 degree neck Can you return your rad? I've had zero issues with the Northern and the quality is top notch and it has been almost 5 years.
