LostnFound Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 OK...check this out....I think it is the same as the Chevelle and is part number 9878201? https://books.google.ca/books?id=CcK9tuyUC7YC&pg=PA130&lpg=PA130&dq=1971+Chevelle+bullet+mirror+part+number&source=bl&ots=efpUHnZiY2&sig=Ssut-g1_SXbzMUYOQq4fCL34pBg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjbnJmg-uHKAhUJtxoKHaPkATwQ6AEIKDAE#v=onepage&q=1971%20Chevelle%20bullet%20mirror%20part%20number&f=false Quote
LostnFound Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 There's this guy but you will need to tell him it is for a Monte because the passenger side mirror base is a little different for it to sit level. Quote
LostnFound Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Also, there's 2 options for the passenger side bullet mirror..... 1) not correct for the 70-72 years but is more functional and reads "Objects may be closer than they appear" across the bottom of the glass 2) nothing printed on glass. This is the one currently on my car but it isn't very functional really. Quote

FASTSS454 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Chevy never put a sport mirror on the right side that I can remember. Anyone have a picture of a original car with one? I have a set of real paper parts manuals from 1975, both part numbers and illustrations so I'll see what I can find tomorrow. Quote

Some Canadian built Montes have the passenger side sport mirror but extremely rare. Quote
