  1. It took me forever to post everything today due to the site error issues we have been getting. Hopefully the invision guy will be able to get these issues fixed soon.
  2. Pittsburgh Pistons In The Park Car Show sorry for any duplicate pictures but it kept timing out while i was trying to post I was not able to get photos of all the cars rob
  3. I agree with all you have said there. Yes, the whole issue was just to serve a warrant. They interviewed a police chief on the news and he said serving a warrant is one of the most dangerous jobs they do. The have no idea what is behind that door or how desperate that person may be. In this case what was behind that door or in the corn field (I say corn field because one report stated they were shot from a corn field and another said from inside the house) was a guy with an AK47 assault rifle. Those police officers did not have a chance. Of course they can't send out a SWAT Team on every warrant call. The fact that there were at least 5 officers were on site makes me wonder if they knew this guy was armed because I didn't think they usually send that many officers out to serve a warrant. My prayers go out to the families of all of those officers. rob
  4. From what I understand from my wife's Catholic School experiences with nuns, you just wacked him on the knuckles with a ruler. Glen, consider yourself spanked. rob
  5. I was basing my thoughts that it was a little beat up by the missing hub cap on the front and what looks like the whole side is a little funky. Something else I noticed is the rear end looks to be jacked up pretty high because a car with skirts usually sits lower on the rear wheel. The skirt molding looks to be at the same height as a cars normal rear wheel well trim. With skirts the skirt trim would be at or just below the center of the wheel hub. No matter what, it was a running, driving first gen Monte and I would not have kicked it out of the garage. rob
  6. Rust yes but it also looks like the back side of the rotor is worn almost to to the vent fins while the front side has very little wear. rob
  7. For some reason, now when I leave the site without signing out I have to sign back in again. This has now happened 2 or 3 times. rob
  8. Chris, first off, welcome aboard the boards of the FGMCC website. We hope you like what you see here and decide to become a full fledged dues paying member of the club. The information here on the boards and the knowledge of the people here are worth double or triple the amount of our annual dues and it helps keep this club and website operational. Second.... Beautiful car and father/son project. Nothing like bonding over a car, especially a first gen Monte. rob
  9. I'm not sure what it being in a K-Mart parking low would matter. Some of us like the look of the skirts, it gives the Monte a longer, sleeker look. My point was that in the condition it looks to be in I would have thought the skirts would have been one of the first things to be scrapped/removed. rob
  10. It does look a bit rough. I am surprised as rough as it looks the fender skirts are still on it. rob
  11. That may be but something is happening. I know you aren't saying it isn't happening because you have seen it but for some reason the issue is not showing up on the site tracking. It is happening to all of us. For me it is only happening on this website and no place else I visit. I was glad I took a screen shot of what it said. Sometimes it will happen repeatedly within a 10 minute period. If I am on my phone I have to completely exit the website and then go back in. (I don't have to sign back into the website but I do have to input the fgmcc.com and enter. On my laptop I can sometimes just hit the back arrow and I am back in. Sometimes when I am going from one screen to another while on the site the arrow will just sit there and spin and finally time out. If it was just my phone I would think it is just an issue with the phone link portion of the site but it isn't just the phone. Whenever you get a chance it will be good. It isn't putting the whole site down so it isn't an emergency, just an inconvenience. rob
  12. Mark, it isn't from your MAC being a version down because it is happening on my laptop, phone and two tablets, none of them are MAC/Apple. rob
  13. It just happened again on my laptop a couple minutes ago. Also very slow sometimes and then times out. rob
  14. Is anyone else having issues here on the club web-site? I gave been seeing the site sometimes very slow to respond. This is happening when using my phone, tablets and laptop and in different locations. This is not happening on any other website I visit. I am also, sometimes getting the below message, see screen shot photo. rob
  15. Very nice. Like Dennis, I am a purist on my cars but can appreciate other peoples vision. rob
  16. It doesn't look long enough to be a Monte bumper filler. Some larger metal parts have a number stamping in them. Not necessarily a part number but some kind of number stamping which may help identify it to someone. rob
  17. Thanks for sharing!!! I love the photo's of the old ones with the people around them dressed in the vintage clothing. Not much in the way of safety features on those though. rob
  18. So, what does the black, pink and red mean. Frankly I don't put much faith in long term forecasts. I don't even put much faith in a forecast for Carlisle two days in advance of a meet there because they are almost ALWAYS wrong so I am not going to worry much about the one you have posted so as of now, I will not shoot the messenger. rob
  19. Greentree Boro Octoberfest and Car Cruise Additional pictures to follow.
  20. Pictures please, come on, you know the drill rob
  21. And it was 1 of only 2 produced that year as a convertible for a GM Executive. . rob
  22. That guy really gets around to a lot of cruises and shows in a lot of different areas. rob
